| A Feature in our Baranggay | So, being that your neighborhood is small, I supposed you finished mapping your neighborhood quite easily. I’m looking forward to seeing those details on the map soon. Thank you for posting your experience, and sharing what you’ve discovered. Cheers, |

| Chosen feature in my neighborhood | That sounds interesting! There are many frequent changes in that area - new businesses being put up, and other establishments closing down. It would be great if you can update that map with the latest information you’ve gathered. Thank you for posting your experience, and sharing what you’ve discovered. Cheers, |

| Fieldpaper experience :) | First of all, I don’t think you’re writing this in Abkhazian, so next time you might want to indicate English instead. Second, when you have the time to check the OSM map of your neighborhood, tell us what you find about the feature mapped as Everything at Steak, and the vicinity. Thank you for posting your experience, and sharing what you’ve found in your neighborhood. Cheers, |

| New discoveries, more knowledge, experience and fun! | Thank you for posting your experience, and sharing what you’ve found in your neighborhood. Isn’t it interesting how may new things are almost always hidden behind the familiar? With regard to the data you’ve added for Chef Von, contact numbers should be written in the international format, +63 999 1234-5678 which includes the country code and access codes. Cheers, |

| OSM mapping: My opinions and experiences | Mabuhay! Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I found three recent diaries from new mappers from the Philippines, sharing about their OSM experience, and one of those is yours. Yours is cool, because you even bothered to add images in your entry. I’m curious to know about the internship you’re doing. Do you mind saying which institution is this? |

| Community Mapping Using Open-source Tools in Barangays 21-C, 22-C, and 23-C in Davao City | Congratulations on your first OSM diary entry, Ate Kim! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Like you, I definitely think this is one of the more interesting workshops I’ve done recently, and definitely the youngest group, and with the highest female participation in all the sessions. <3! Working with high school students are very challenging in a different way, and the training approach we did is definitely not the one we usually use for our regular workshop programs. I’m glad you found the time to join us Jen, and I look forward to working with you again. Oppa Erwin. :grinning: |

| adjusting the map to the satellite background | There’s an imagery offset database: http://offsets.textual.ru/map , which you can use to record the offsets you make to the imagery. This is helpful when working with other mappers in the area, and you need to agree on common offsets, to make it easier for everyone to collaborate. We’ve also found Strava’s street-level global heatmaps to be useful for aligning aerial imagery, and they are a more consistent reference against any aerial imagery that may change from time to time. |

| Missing Roads from ImproveOSM now also on MapRoulette | Thanks Martijn! |

| Missing Roads from ImproveOSM now also on MapRoulette | That’s great, Martijn. We’d love to see a Missing Roads task for the Philippines. Could you set up one for us? Personally, I do it via the improveOSM plugin, but that’s limited to people who use JOSM and the plugin. This could be a great addition to the exercises we do during outreach events. |
