Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project
* Please be sure the object you want to map is a building. When there is no shadow next to it, or traces of human activity, it is mostly not a building. Buildings have mostly a gray or brown roof. Green means trees or scrub.
Here are no buildings.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project.
* Tagging of buildings. For HOTOSM projects, the standard tagging is 'building=yes' No text adding. Please keep that in mind at further mappings.

Hello again.
Also on this task there are several issues.
When you map paths, don't cross buildings.
Don't connect nodes of highways to other features , here to a residential area.
When you map residential areas, don't cross buildings as well.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. I reviewed your mappings here as well.
You hardly square buildings. Use the Q key when a building is selected.
Don't you use the plugin building tool?
With this tool, you automatically draw rectangular or round buildings.

I am sorry to say, but your mappings do not meet the quality standards of HOTOSM.
Please pay attention to next summarized issues. ( see attached document for more info)
A: Not accurately drawn.
C: Collecting multiple buildings and mapping them as 1 building.
E. Buildings not squared.
F: Mapping of buildings partly hidden by trees.
* Tagging of buildings. For HOTOSM projects, the standard tagging is 'building=yes' No text adding. Please keep that in mind at further mappings.
Please don't tag buildings as landuse=wetland!

Please don't collect buildings and tag it as 1 building. These are actually 3 buildings.

--------------------------------------
Tag highway=Path rather than footway/ Paths are usually impassable for motorized vehicles. (However, African motorcyclists can sometimes do the most improbable stunts.) Never use path to mark an unpaved or unsealed road in built-up residential areas: Such roads should be tagged according to the local conventions (usually highway=residential if passable by vehicles and pedestrians, or highway=footway for pedestrian only where they can sometimes be separated from another parallel highway for vehicles).
----------------------------
How to measure the width of a road in IDeditor:
Zoom in as far as possible and draw a line between the shoulders of a trace and click
ctr +shift+M to shows measurements
click on the line between the nodes, and you get the width.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project.
You mapped a few lighter colored traces alongside a highway as buildings. Please check that they show a shadow, which proofs it is above ground level. No shadow here, I removed them.

Hello Tess.
Thanks for mapping here
Please take the width of a trace into account when decide to tag it.
Here, you tagged a narrow path as unclassified. Just path is a better tag.

Also, try to connect paths/highways to each other so it becomes a network.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello Thanks for mapping on this project. We welcome you as a new mapper.
About highways you tagged as 'service'
Never use this tag where a small trace went through rural land. No access to farms etc. Just tag them as path or track.

Hello. Tess,
please solve issues shown by the issue triangle before you upload your mappings.
Here, you re-tagged paths into unclassified. In this particular area, the tag 'track' suits the situation better.

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
Please solve the issues shown by the issue triangle before uploading your work.
Please don't add a layer to a building when it crosses another object. Just solve the issues.

I am sorry to say, but you forgot to tag highways as (in this case) as highway=residential.
You just mapped a trace and tagged is as ground.
I noticed this on your other changesets as well.
