Good progress for Kongsberg, Norway

Posted by ErikJ on 3 February 2009 in English.

During the autumn and winter I've ridden every street in Kongsberg on my bike and traced them with a GPS. The town and its surrounding residential areas should now be fairly complete.

There are still lots of details to fill in. Cold temperatures (-15°C) and snow somewhat limits mapping expeditions at the moment.

For the summer I plan to map paths/trails around town and also roads in more rural areas.

Hey, come on! You could still use your skis!

So did I in Oslo-Nordmarka last weekend ;-)

Interested in some mapping in Notodden after Easter? So far I am the only one, mapping there...

Yes, I plan on bringing the GPS next time I go cross-country skiing.

I've thought about doing some mapping in the nearby towns such as Notodden, Vestfossen, Hokksund etc. Maybe in the spring/summer.
