I wound up adding the address back along with the house number for a number of your removal changes. Please stop removing this data.

The geofabrik map has about a 12 to 24 hour update rate depending on when your changeset was applied to the map.

In addition to the task project that you have setup, there are some other projects that cover just the City of Phoenix. I have not updated areas recently. These do not cover the reset of the Metro Phoenix area. There is plenty of mapping to do.

I apply postal_code tags to the streets once I have completed an area. You can see both the buildings that have been addressed and the streets that have a postal code at the geofagrik map here. I only apply the postal_code tag once the street has been aligned and surface tags have been applied.

Artem, Thank you for your patience. I have performed a new survey of the area this afternoon. The Mapillary images are being processed. I have changed the name to "East Desert Cactus Street". I also removed wikinames keys and changed the addr:street tags to use the "East Desert Cactus Street". Poor Robert E Lee has been erased/canceled! He should have stayed off facebook.

What you are missing is the south bound and north bound side of North Tatum Boulevard. It is correct that the name is Desert Cactus on the north bound side of Tatum. Finally, all the houses have East Robert E Lee Street. The is a push to remove Robert E Lee. The name should not be changed until a new survey can be done.

I am changing the street name back to what it was. I don't know where you got your proprietary information but it is not correct in this case.

Oh! I see. The map at https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ is more of a thumbnail map. It is is not designed to be a detailed map. All that is really shown are the major arterials on the map. The map also assumes that you know all the street names are either north prefix or east prefix.

The road is crossing the 500 North hundred block as in 500 North Scottsdale Road. The 900 E shows that Scottsdale Road is aligned with the 900 E hundred block.

Hey there. Cities only have so much room on the street sign. Often they will drop both the prefix direction and the road type suffix. The updates you made do no reflect the actual street name. Moreover, in the case of Scottsdale Road. The North and South direction can change depending on old town Scottsdale or not. Washington St and Central Ave make the primary x/y dividing lines between north and south and east and west respectfully for Maricopa County.

You can follow street level imagery but you need to take the naming into account for the Metro Phoenix/Maricopa County area.

user_5359, Thank you for the edit checking that you do in the metro Phoenix area. The node you reference is a Search Engine Optimization spam account and thus spam address. The user is the same as the business. SEO spammers dump these addresses all over the place some of them have been as far away as Washington State. I just get tired of cleaning them up because we have the National Address Database, NAD that has much better addresses. First off the address is a business address placed in a residential apartment building complex. The address was placed at 59th Avenue yet the address reads at 51st Avenue. Northern Avenue is at 8000 North as far as the hundred blocks of the address are concerned. The address is located at 20325 North not between 8000 and 9000 North i.e. Northern Avenue and Olive/Dunlap Avenue. I will add some addresses to the apartment are so you get the idea.

You spent more time writing on my changest verses your changeset/103873029: "removal". You did the same thing across the nation. How am I supposed to understand that you are not being malicious? It would have been much better to say I consulted x imagery as the nursery has been replace by a new subdivision on x/2021. Changing the landuse tag from plant_nursery to residential would have been a plus. Here is an example of what I am talking about. There is a brand new building on this corner. I explained why I added the building in hopes that no one will delete it.

I moved all my investments to local bond investments because we are nearing the end of a Shemitah year. I moved the investments well before the seven year stock crash cycle and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Next up the Chinese invasion of Taiwan?
