Hello ikonact,

It looks like you've deleted the islets that you've added yesterday. I assume that you've deleted them by accident?

Best wishes,

Здравей Reaktor,

Hello Alexey,

Thanks for adding the street name! If possible, try to put the English name in name:en and the Bulgarian name in the name tag. You can also check the guide for street names in Bulgaria (osm.wiki/Bg:WikiProject_Bulgaria#Имена_на_улици_и_булеварди).

Best wishes,

Благодарности за бързото обновяване на всичките пътища, които са били отворени днес! Добавих един таг за път без изход на края на старото трасе, защото някой може да се подлъже от старите сателитни снимки и да реши да го свърже с новото трасе.

Hello Termininja,

Can I ask you from where you got the streams information? I couldn't locate way/1157924807 on Bing or any other imagery. It also looks like that stream goes through the middle of some buildings.

Hello davidmguest,

You've added a ref to tag to way/26491803 which is quite far compared to the edits that you've made in this changeset. Was that by mistake?

Best wishes.

Hello M Ton, and welcome to OpenStreetMap. Thanks for mapping the addresses so fast! It looks like we were mapping them at the same time which caused some duplicates. I've merged them so everything is fine now. If you need any help or if you have any questions about OpenStreetMap, feel free to ask me.

Best wishes,

@blankmash The problem is not related to raised crossings. Some apps (namely StreetComplete) ask users about kerb heights on crossings. When the crossing is mapped only as a node on a road, it adds kerb=* to that node. This is the approved way to tag kerbs on such crossings (osm.wiki/Tag:barrier:kerb#Alternative_on_crossings).

The problem is that iD's validator suggests to add barrier=kerb to these nodes which makes routers think that there is a kerb in the middle of the road (which is not the case). The bug is currently being tracked (osm.wiki/Tag:barrier:kerb#Alternative_on_crossings), hopefully it will get fixed soon. Until then, please ignore that warning.

Hi Martin,

I agree that the whole road should be upgraded to primary after the section from Gotse Delchev to Paradise Center is built, but it's too early to upgrade the currently built sections to secondary.

I also agree that secondary is fine, but only after the section towards G. M. Dimitrov is done. Until then, Filip Kutev ends in tertiary streets on both ends. If we want the classification to be correct we should upgrade Emiliyan Stanev, Srebarna and Mogilata to secondary. I assume that you know what's the condition of the last two.

The classification is used to denote the current importance of a road. I'm not sure how currently ongoing construction works increase it's importance for the general public. It will increase it, but only after the construction is done.

Best regards,
Dimitar

You haven't added the barrier tags indeed, I'm just pointing out that the problem is caused by iD's validator (see versions 5 and 6 of node/3063961715/history).

StreetComplete is asking about it because the two kerbs are in the "middle" of the path. If they were at the end of a crossing way (higway=footway + footway=crossing), StreetComplete won't ask you about the kerb height.

Using kerb=* without barrier=kerb on crossing nodes is the correct way to tag the kerbs if they are not mapped separately. The bug is in iD since it's suggesting to add barrier=kerb to these nodes.

See https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/9533 and osm.wiki/Tag:barrier:kerb#Alternative_on_crossings

Hi m_zahariev,

Don't you think that it's too early to upgrade this short section of Filip Kutev to secondary? Personally I would've waited until the currently under construction section is built.

Hello Fraxi,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! I've noticed that you have traced the roof of a building and you've placed its address as the name. I wanted to let you know that it's important to follow correct mapping practices to ensure the accuracy of our data. In this case, it's best to use the building's footprint to map it, and to avoid putting the address in the name field.

If you have any questions or need any help with the mapping process, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Best regards,
Dimitar

Hello Kate,

It seems like node/9076606886 and node/9076613944 have been duplicated. Can you check which one is correct and remove the other?

Hello Kate,

Why is it needed to have both shop=mobile_phone and office=telecommunication? shop=mobile_phone is obvious, office=telecommunication is used for the offices of a telecommunication company (where the general public is usually not supposed to). shop=telecommunication would be the correct tag to use for the shops (where you can pay your bill, sign a contract, get a new device etc.).

Best wishes,
Dimitar

The company that you are talking about might have been called "Селскостопанска авиация" or "ССА" in short. Around the 90s it got split and privatized. A few years later it was gone. Currently there are quite a few private companies which operate these airports but it's almost impossible to find who owns which airport.
