A forest is a biome, and a few canopies does not a biome make. You should delete all these ways and if you still want to, map the trees as nodes. The on-the-ground rule-of-thumb works pretty well here. Most people would not say they are in a forest or woods because they are standing beneath a few leaves.

You cannot use other maps as a source if they are protected by copyright. This includes Apple Maps.

Dino, your opinion does not reflect consensus. First, access=no should be used for military bases. Second, GPS is not required for all edits. Aerial imagery is an acceptable source of tracing and currently the primary source used for the vast majority of edits. Finally, appropriately licensed correct data should never be removed from OSM, even if it is illegal in a particular country, since OSM only operates under the laws of the UK.
