I don't think that just because the AI building is unchanged that it means it is an import, unless the building would be caught during manual review. I have seen areas where the AI detections are at least as good as a first pass by most mappers.

Unless you have evidence of a high error rate that suggests some of the buildings were not manually reviewed, skquinn has indicated to the contrary that his editing process is more than just selecting a bunch of buildings and pressing "add".

Kinsio, it is only considered an automated edit if the AI data is not manually reviewed before upload. For example, if I were to download all MapWithAI buildings in an area, select the entire layer, and press "add", that would not be adequate review. If, however, I look at each building to confirm good alignment with aerial photo, then that is sufficient oversight. However, we are not perfect, so it is possible that we accidentally accept a building that we meant to reject, or we allow a poorly digitized building by mistake. Why do you believe that this changeset is in violation of the Automated Edits Code of Conduct?

Be careful not to connect landuse to boundaries, like Star city limits. It makes it harder to maintain.

Welcome to OSM! To encourage water Pokémon to spawn, you can map the area of the river. Draw closed ways representing the riverbanks, crossing the river and turning around every few miles, then tag with natural=water and water=river. Note that Niantic updates the in-game map infrequently, so it may take a couple years to see spawns change.

These buildings look a bit wonky. In the future, make sure you trace over the building outline more precisely. Also make sure to orthogonalize the buildings by selecting and pressing Q after drawing.

What you are describing is a form of tagging for the renderer. We are not in the business of making a pretty map. We are assembling geographic data that can be used by anyone, for free, to make a map that suits their needs. By connecting landuse to roads, you are contributing incorrect data (because you are suggesting that roadbed is actually commercial/park/retail) and making it very difficult to edit.

What looks clean is subjective. What's easiest to map, less so. Do not continue mapping in this way.
