Our Organization is a member of the YouthMappers Network.  To learn about this global university consortium go to their OSM wiki linked here or visit their website at youthmappers.org.

We aim to generate spatial data through collaborative mapping projects, in conjunction with the community, that promote a positive socio-environmental impact in local and remote communities, with themes associated with sustainability at the local, regional, and global levels. This project is linked to the Collaborative Mapping extension course of the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering program at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Brazil. Our chapter began its activities in August 2025.

Aerial mapping of the campus	Produce a very high resolution orthophoto	A drone flight was carried out. RGB and multispectral imagery was acquired. Control points with were marked and precise coordinates were obtained with GNSS. The orthophoto will be used to map details of the campus not visible in satellite imagery.	Opendronemap	11/03/2025
Mapathon - Mapping Buildings in Campo Grande, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil	This project aims to add buildings in order to evalueate extreme heat.	This project was not created by our chapter, we are contributing in the tasks in order to training our YouthMappers chapter members. The mapathon was carried out with this aim.	TeachOSM	12/19/2025
