Batopin

Review mapped ATMs of Batopin members

ING, KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis and Belfius forged an unholy alliance to create Batopin, an entity to create a Belgian network of ATMs not tied to any particular bank. In the process, these banks removed many of their own ATMs. We should review them:

Add check_date=* if you verified they still exist.

Add Batopin ATMs

Since Batopin has to create a database of their ATMs for normal operations, under EU law there is no protection, so we can simply copy from it.

Checklist (JOSM):

• If the ATM is already mapped:
  • Check its tags. Remove network=*, name=*.
  • Copy all the tags from the Batopin source to the existing object.
  • Check your pending modification with Ctrl+H to check that what you added doesn't contradict what's already mapped; if it does, check what's up.
• If the ATM is not already mapped:
  • Copy the whole object from the Batopin source. The locations are off by some tens of meters. Make sure to use street-level imagery or a survey to finetune it. If you can't, add a fixme=*.

• Add indoor=* and capacity=* (amount of parallel machines) if you can find it.
• Add panoramax=*, mapillary=* and/or image=* where possible.

 To do: Some kind of tool to track which objects have been handled? But MapRoulette is always broken for me
