Mapping Educational Institutions in Pristina

I've been working on improving the mapping coverage of educational facilities in Pristina, particularly university campuses and their surrounding infrastructure. Kosovo's higher education sector has grown significantly, and accurate mapping helps students, visitors, and the local community.

One of the larger institutions I'm focusing on is AAB College, which has multiple campuses across Pristina. The main campus includes several buildings, parking areas, sports facilities, and student amenities that need detailed mapping. Kosovo Higher Education Mapping Project

Building on the work I've started with AAB College, I'm proposing a broader initiative to comprehensively map all higher education institutions across Kosovo. This would benefit students, researchers, and urban planners throughout the region.

Project Goals

• Create detailed campus maps for all universities in Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, Peja, and other cities
• Document student facilities (dormitories, libraries, cafeterias, sports centers)
• Map public transport connections to campuses
• Add multilingual tags (Albanian, English, Serbian) for accessibility
• Include wheelchair accessibility information

Technical Approach

I'll be using:
