data items

There still seams to be an issue with the items: At least for me, when I want to add a traffic sign to map in iD, the description and also image isn't shown for the new signs (e.g. GB:616 or GB:629.1). Whereas GB:881 works. I haven't yet find the reason.

Another thing is: The "label" should be set in the standard field which is "English", not "British English", and should not be duplicated (Data items). --Chris2map (talk) 17:27, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

Noted re: language. I'm very new to using the data items side of the OSM Wiki and if it's this much work to get it to work with iD, an editor I rarely use other than for quick and simple edits, I can think of better uses of my time - and yours. --Rskedgell (talk) 00:22, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
