Hi Kri

I'm a OSM contributor from Beglium and I wonder if there is some OSM of line activities in Bangkok where I'm living now.

Best regards, Lionel Scheepmans (talk) 03:25, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi, Thanks for reaching out! There are some OpenStreetMap-related activities in Bangkok, but they’re not very regular. A lot of contributors here are active mostly online. However, there are occasional mapping meetups and small gatherings organized through these OSM channels: Thai OSM forum Thai OpenStreetMap FB group If you’re interested, I’d be happy to join or help organize a small meetup in Bangkok too! Thanks for your reply Kri. Yes, why not organized a small meetup or gathering. I'm currently living in Sutthisan neighborhood. Where are you situated ? Maybe better to keep touch by phone. Thai translation

Hello Kri ttt and welcome to OSM Wiki. Thanks for Thai translations. Maybe you will be interested to translate in free time the {Taginfo2} template (only 20 short messages), which is used on every tag and key page. Most of these messages are only visible when you hover the cursor over icons or numbers. Instructions on how to do it are here: Template:Taginfo2#Translations. The translation will be visible to users who have the Wiki language set to Thai. In case you will need some help, feel free to ask. maro21 21:51, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

Welcome to OpenStreetMap

Hello Kri ttt, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Here are some tips to help you make the most from OSM:

  • Please don't use copyrighted maps as a data source for OpenStreetMap edits
  • To meet other mappers from your country, add these lines to your wiki userpage:
    [[Category:Users in your country|Kri ttt]]
    [[Category:Users in your city|Kri ttt]]
  • Join your regional mailing list
  • Take a look at the Beginners' guide
  • And if you have any questions, look at the FAQ page, or just ask!

Have fun mapping!

Language code "th"

Appreciate you added Thai to the page the other day.

One small hint:

As you see,

  • when you copy and paste from "|en= rolem rolem",
  • and translated the body text,
  • always change from "en=" to "th=" at the beginning of that line;
  • that way, you will be displayed the Thai sentence.

OK, no panic, somebody has fixed as above link already. So please keep contributing to OSM, and help users find what other language speakers are enjoying (: Kindly, Omotecho (talk) 14:02, 17 February 2025 (UTC) ; mended tl error, sorry --Omotecho (talk) 14:06, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
