Thks for making this page, I finally get the time to work on this topic properly in FP, Here is the resulting wiki page for mapping atolls (light): https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:French_Polynesia/FR:French_Polynesia_tagging_guidelines#Atolls I find you explanations perfect! I wasn't sure about the baseline things but your view makes sense, I mean dissociate it from natural=atoll. What do you think about proposing a new tag place=atoll in order to gather the wikidata on it? It would be on the natural=atoll element from my perspective, or as a point in the middle of the atoll..
