Proposal

This proposal aims to introduce a new key courthouse=* with an initial set of values to be used in conjunction with amenity=courthouse for dinstinguishing different types of courts.

Rationale

In OpenStreetMap currently all courts are tagged with amenity=courthouse. However, there's no widespread key or tag (minus name=* for obvious reasons) which would allow a data consumer to differentiate between for example labour courts, social courts or finance courts.
