About Me

Hello! My name is Canopy Falls (She/They/It). I am based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and I contribute to Open Street Map to relax and give my brain something to do.

I'm also massively invested in OSM as a concept and love it and all the jank it comes with.

Mapping Focus

I got into OSM using street complete and I still mostly spend my time just completing street complete quests as an excuse to get out of the house. My current mapping projects/focuses are:

• Separate Sidewalk Mapping for Accessibility - In my local area I have begun the process of mapping out separate sidewalks for the purposes of testing how they interface with my wheelchair and seeing if the data can be useful for the visually impaired community.

I typically use Street Complete and the iD Editor for my contributions but do occasionally use JOSM for the more complex edits.
