Don't use oneway=yes.

Don't use bridge=yes.


Why this guidance is there? If roller coaster track is oneway or on bridge - why not apply them? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 01:03, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

oneway=* : Reasoning as railway:preferred_direction=* ? But this is not explained.
bridge=* : It's "just because tracks overlap. There should be an actual bridge structure underneath the track.". Trying to claim the tracks are always "elevated", so only use bridge=* when they are "elevated" on bridges somehow. But I don't agree with that yet. tunnel=yes means the tracks can be installed inside on floors directly. Stations are often "at-grade". Therefore eg bridge=viaduct should still be usable. Could try to compare with how railway=monorail is distinguished.
