I think it's beter to change Tag:emergency=ambulance_station to Tag:amenity=ambulance_station. Like fire stations. It's more consistent cause both are emergency service. --Corentin 16:36, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Patient transport stations

From the page: "This isn't the same thing as patient transport used to transfer patients from one hospital to another. Patient transport vehicles aren't usually capable of responding to emergency call outs and are usually housed at hospitals."
But how do I tag patient transport stations then?

Usual patient transport isn't an emergency.
It could be made by taxi, except for lying down transport.
