We should document already used socket:device:USB-C=*, Also, some mobiles have wireless "sockets" for charging, like Qi -- socket:device:Qi=*

Public power points?

No. There is power=outlet and power_supply=yes. Also socket:device:USB-A=* and socket:device:USB-C=*. Kovposch (talk) 08:38, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

Status

IMHO, adequate tag status is "in use" according to 1,208 uses, so far. It has leaved the "proposed" status behind, but is far away from "de facto" (which is more like tens of thousands and a longer period of time). --Chris2map (talk) 12:28, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
