Sample Selection & Size

How was the sample and its size selected? The stated aim is to "develop statistically significant quality metrics that can be used to assess the accuracy and consistency of the datasets.". A "sample of 70 buildings" appears adequate for a dataset of (currently) 491 OSM buildings, and could include all of Google Open Buildings, but seems small for the over 90,000 footprint Overture Maps and Microsoft Building Footprints datasets; If the project is completed, then the OSM dataset will presumably increase to a simmilar size. --Gregory Peony (talk) 01:36, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
