This tag likely is a duplicate of shop=clothes, which is more commonly used. |
A fashion shop is a shop selling the latest style of clothes and often also accessories. Given that almost all clothing shops, including some second_hand=only ones claim that it is not a useful difference. Some proposed that shop=fashion tend to be more expensive.
Due to lack of clear difference to shop=clothes it is considered as deprecated in iD, Vespucci[1] and JOSM[2].
