The network AuenBlicke (meaning floodplain views) is a network of information boards and recreational hiking routes about the nature reserves Urdenbacher Kämpe, Rheinufer - Urdenbacher Altrhein bei Baumberg, Urdenbacher Altrhein und Baumberger Aue and Am Kirberger Loch, a landscape of floodplains and fields located inside of a now dry oxbow lake on Wikipedia on the border of Düsseldorf and Monheim.

There are four different types of information:

• Information steles with boards on two sides and a location name on the third: Image
• Information boards: Image
• Audio boards where you call a phone number: Image
• Highwater marks, sometimes next to information boards: Image

Hiking routes

The routes are grouped in a network relation a network relation. The courses have been changed since they were first mapped and the colours and symbols now follow a new system. The symbols consist of the AuenBlicke logo with a different background colour per route.
