Runway centerline lighting is used to highlight the centerline of a runway during periods of darkness or restricted visibility conditions.

Centerline lights are white from the threshold to 900m before the runway end, alternating red and white from 900m to 300m from the runway end, and red from 300m to the runway end. Except if the runway length is less than 1800m, then the alternating red and white lights extend from the midpoint of the runway to 300m from the runway end.
