The tag maxspeed:type=NL:urban indicates that the road
- is in the European part of the Netherlands,
- has no signed speed limit,
- is inside the built-up area (binnen de bebouwde kom,
zone:traffic=NL:urban), and - is not a living street (geen erf,
living_street=no),
and that therefore the default 50 km/h speed limit applies, according to article 20 sub a of the Reglement verkeersregels en verkeerstekens 1990.
