Tag:man_made=ice_house

The tag man_made=ice_house is used to map an Ice house or icehouse: a building used to store ice throughout the year, commonly used prior to the invention of the refrigerator. Some are underground chambers, usually man-made, close to natural sources of winter ice such as freshwater lakes, but many are buildings with various types of insulation.

How to map

Add a node at the centre of the ice house or draw the outline of its area and add the man_made=ice_house. You may add the generally-used name with name=*, if there is one.
