A hoodoo
Hoodoo (geology) is a large natural column made of fairly friable rocks, generally sedimentary or coming from volcanic deposits, whose summit is protected and capped by a rock of a different nature, much better resistant to the work of erosion. They are often touristic places.
Usually colums are clearly separated, so you will add the tags natural=rock on several nodes. But sometimes columns are linked together and they can be tagged as a way with the tags natural=cliff.
