A large water basin or tank for a fire department to take water. It is designed to get fast access to water for extinguishing fires whenever the water pipes are not adequate and no natural water is close by.
There is also very similar tag emergency=fire_water_pond - a man made or natural body with water for a fire department.
How to map
Set a node
at the center of the feature or draw an area
along its outline. Add emergency=water_tank.
Also add a general tag for the water body or storage tank as appropriate:
man_made=reservoir_covered- a covered reservoir is a large man-made tank for holding fresh water.natural=waterman_made=storage_tank+content=water- a container that holds water.
