Notes and references

  1. Andorra, despite being an independent country, it depends religiously from Spain's church structure. The highest church level that covers Andorra's territory is relation 19484065, which is level =8.
  2. It has been proposed to map as admin_level/religious_level =3 the Conferencia Episcopal Tarraconense, an episcopal conference that's a subdivision of the Spanish Episcopal Conference. It is recognised by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, but not from the Vatican, making it an official-but-not-quite-official religious region. Current consensus is to map it as a religious region, but without the admin_level/religious_level tags and without including it as a subarea in the main Spanish Episcopal Conference relation. The Conferencia Episcopal Tarraconense is not currently mapped in OSM.
