Proposal

These new tags specify the type of highway construction being done. This also adds a new key, construction_type=*, to specify them.

Rationale

The reason why we need construction type tags is because some people want to know what specific construction is being done, not just that a highway is undergoing construction. The potential use and significance is that mapping of highway construction work is more specific.

Tagging

All should be tagged in ways.

• build: A new highway being built.
• reconstruct: An existing highway being reconstructed.
• related_work: Parts related to the highway (e.g., traffic signs, etc.) being worked on (e.g., removed and reinstalled).
• infrastructure: Infrastructure work. (e.g., pipes)

Examples

Should be tagged together with highway=construction.
