OSM Contributions

ALPR (Automated License Plate Recognition) Cameras

Since 2025, Drivers Against Flock has been helping our users report, find, and avoid ALPR cameras throughout their communities.

Editing process

Drivers Against Flock uses user feedback as a primary source in making edits (e.g. feedback about locations of ALPR cameras). Once a potential ALPR camera is reported, it is held in a pending state until additional users report the same ALPR camera location, or confirm the ALPR location within our applications.

Currently, no edits are made to OSM, but we're exploring our options what would be the best way to proceed for both community's needs. If you have feedback or information to supply, please visit our topic, Discussion of Organized Editing for Drivers Against Flock.
