In 2025, the OpenStreetMap 21st Anniversary Birthday party will be celebrated on or around 9th August 2025 in cities all around the world!

The LCCWG Hosted 12 Hour Global Mapathon - Saturday August 9

Join us Saturday August 9 in celebrating OpenStreetMap's 21st Birthday! The Local Chapters and Communities Working Group is hosting a 12-hour global mapathon with 4-hour regional blocks covering Asia/Oceania, Europe/Africa, and the Americas. Anyone is welcome to join any part of the day, whether their regional community is hosting or not. Come map with the global OSM community! We'll be mapping together in the same room for 12 hours.

Asia/Oceania - begin 08:00 to 12:00 UTC
Europe/Africa - 12:00 to 16:00 UTC
Americas - 16:00 to 20:00 UTC (US ET is 12pm-4pm / US PT is 9am to 1pm)
