amenity=restaurant

Status: in use

The tag award:michelin=* can be used to mark an award of a POI that was awarded by Michelin. The most common use is to mark the number of Michelin stars of a restaurant.

Note that Michelin stars are awarded to a small number of restaurants, so a 1-star restaurant already describes a high quality standard. This contrasts to the competing stars=*, used for many different rating systems where 1 star is a low rating.

How to map

Add award:michelin=* to the element with amenity=restaurant.
