Deutsch: Zeichen 257: Gespannfuhrwerke. Von mir, Mediatus, nachgezeichnet. Quelle: Bundesgesetzblatt, Jahrgang 1970, Nr. 108, S. 1581. Tag der Ausgabe: Bonn, 5. Dezember 1970. Grundlage für dieses Zeichen war die damalige Formulierung unter Nr. 26, in der Anlage 2 StVO. Laut Verkehrsblatt 14/1972 sollten Schilder dieser Art eine Gesamtbreite von 600 mm besitzen. Die Lichtkantenbreite lag bei 10 mm. Der innere weiße Bereich war 420 mm breit und die rote Umrandung 80 mm stark. Bei Bedarf konnte die Gesamtbreite der roten Umrandung auch nur 572 mm betragen.
