DTP and OpenStreetMap (OSM) Data
DTP uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) data along with other sources to support traffic and network operations, planning, and policy development across the state. DTP provides open data for the community to help improve maps for everyone, and authorised staff may also make direct OSM edits to improve data quality as part of specific projects. Note that edits made to OSM do not currently flow back into authoritative data sources like Vicmap.
