For some time now I’ve been trying to engage with you about the instructions that you added to https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/10694/tasks , which according to https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/10694 is a project you created.

I asked you to change the instructions there from “Changeset comment:#hotosm-project-10694 #uaigeo #youthmappers”, as we (the DWG) had had complaints of problems in the area, and noticed that mappers were using meaningless changeset comments. The mappers themselves were blameless - the were literally just following the instructions they were given.

I asked you to fix this 9/10/2021, 30/10/2021, 2/11/2021, 8/11/2021, 17/11/2021, 15/12/2021 and 14/1/2022 but have not had a reply since 5/11/2021, hence sending this as a message that you have to read before continuing to edit.

The original request is now somewhat moot since https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/10694 is now complete (though it wasn’t when I first asked, obviously). However, please ensure that other active or future HOT Tasking Manager projects that you create do have an instruction to mappers to add meaningful changeset comments. By all means add hashtags as well - but meaningful changeset comments are vital to explain to other mappers what is being changed.
