We appreciate when companies join the mapping efforts and edit their businesses, however we categorise such edits as “organised”, which requires to follow specific rules.

• disclose your account as belonging to the business, in your profile
• describe what your are doing by using good changeset comments. Not just name the hotel you edit, but describe the reason for the edit, such as “no longer operated by Radisson”
• change only tags for properties that have changed. So, if the hotel is no longer operated by Radisson, but remains as a building, you might remove name and operator, but preserve the building tag. If you know the new operator, it would be helpful to add it.
• study the formats of the tags. Community members reported that you removed valid address formats and replaced them with incompatible ones
• communicate with the community. When people discuss your changesets, you should receive an email about it, or find a summary here: https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=12021046 You can reply there and fix potential mistakes.
