Following on from osm.org/user_blocks/19112 can you explain the necessity to add https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:bicycle=no to way/1453364281 ? The previous tagging was https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:footway=sidewalk; https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway=footway - what difference do you believe that adding https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:bicycle=no will add:

• to the fundamental access rights recorded in the OSM data
• to how that data is handled by consumers of OSM data.

As suggested previously, the UK forum https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/uk/86 is the best place to have this discussion; that way more people can be involved.
