I wish there was a nicer way of welcoming you to OSM, but unfortunately, this message is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

A number of other mappers have contacted us in regard to your use of OSM Notes, in that you are spamming the map with meaningless Notes, that other users have to then waste their time clearing.

The idea of OSM Notes are to point out that something needs to be done at a certain location, not for you to leave bad jokes.

Once you have read this message, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM, but we ask you to take note of these comments, to avoid any possible further action.
