over two weeks ago, after having unilaterally changed the place tags of a ton of places in Massachusetts (changeset/149579123) you were told that such reclassifications require prior discussion.

You chose to ignore that, and instead continued with the activity, in some cases even defiantly repeating an edit that the community had reverted (eg changeset/150226715).

In case this was not understood: The required discussion does not consist of you making your point in changeset comments that override the opinion of others. The discussion has to happen in a suitable community medium BEFORE you make the edit. Participating in https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/broad-undiscussed-new-england-place-name-reclassification/111201 would be a good start.

The fact that you implement something you found on a wiki page does not absolve you from the requirement to discuss your planned changes before you execute them.
