I understand and saw the source you added. I know that the A8(M) number applies to the spur in question.

We have a similar situation with the A57(M) and A635(M) in Manchester where I tagged it as such a few months ago. I feel that the same should be applied here.

I know that this changeset was made a month ago, but the ref tagging is still incorrect and requires discussion.

The "A8(M)" is signed as the M8 or (A8) on the ground so the ref=M8, destination:ref=A8 and highway_authority_ref=A8(M).

The highway tagging should be highway=motorway_link in my opinion as the spur is minor and links to two major motorways. I'm not too concerned about this though.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Personally, I didn't, however, I was interested in seeing the discussion that took place at Talk-GB or Talk-IE to see what was going on. That being said, discussions relevant to the mechanical edit should be included in the changeset tags per the Automated Edits code of conduct. I don't like to seek out or create drama, so I'm sorry if this has been particularly bothersome.

I’m going to be honest. These edits are complete and utter rubbish. Jubilee Way did not open in 2014. Although incompatible with OSM, historical Google Earth imagery show that the road has existed since the 1990s… 😐 This needs to stop now.

Why on earth did you split the Pepperstock Roundabout into trillions of small ways?? You also changed one of the slip roads to a trunk link road when it should be a motorway link road. This edit will be partially reverted.

I'm pretty sure that Manston Airport's runway, despite the imagery being deceiving, is not that wide. Additionally, Manston Airport is yet to reopen - something which is still uncertain as of right now. I'll be amending these additions in an upcoming changeset, which I'll link here.

Thank you for the response. I understand, however it does not appear to be an industrial area, which is what you tagged it as. I've deleted the object in question, also keep in mind to upload your changesets within a small area. While this varies with the changeset preferences of different people, just keep this in mind in the future. Also, it is important that you do not do guesswork/armchair map on a large scale (osm.wiki/Armchair_mapping), as it can lead to QA problems such as the one seen with the object which I've deleted.
