Help: Revert changesets

Posted by winnewoerp on 25 February 2016 in English.

Hi,

can someone please revert changesets #37448565 and #37448380 for me? I don’t know how that works. They were not meant to be uploaded to OSM but to another server where we use OSM software. I accidentally was connected to the OSM server in JOSM.

Thank you!

Kind regards joschi81

Somebody beat me to it by 3 minutes :) If you are using JOSM, do install the “reverter” plugin. It will add a “revert changeset” to the “Data” menu, which you can use for reverting.

Thanks, Zverik. I will do so next time.

@BCNorwich: Thanks for reverting the first one. And yes: #37448380 has many objects and has to be deleted as well. Otherwise a strange fictional town will appear in the forests between Moscow and Yaroslavl, as can already be seen here: Brenta, Russia

This is where it was supposed to go, btw: Brenta, Nordland, Republik Kalm (Opengeofiction) (still waiting for a new coastline rendering as of Feb 26, 8:40 AM CET)

Kind regards joschi81

Hi, change-set #37448380 is now reverted.

Reverting a chang-set is usually an easy task unless there are conflicts with the data.

Regards Bernard
