almost 2 years ago | Gotcha, I will check it out. Thanks for the heads up.
almost 2 years ago | The intent was for there to be no duplication but it's totally possible I botched it somehow. Was there some place in particular that needs some more attention from me? Happy to take a look at it.
almost 2 years ago | Perfect. Thanks!
almost 2 years ago | Hello! Quite a curiously shaped thing. Is this data from some source? I don't see anything listed in the few changesets I looked at but maybe I missed something. Would love to learn more. Matt
almost 2 years ago | Any chance you remember what the meaning is for the values of tiger:reviewed you have added to some of these?
almost 2 years ago | I just wanted to drop in to let you know that I have been standardizing a lot of the population tagging on place features. In particular, eliminating the census:population and population:census tagging in favor of population, population:date, and source:population. The discussion is on the community forum in case tat is of interest. https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/109016
almost 2 years ago | Hello! Somewhat unintuitively, waterway=fish_pass should be drawn pointing in the way the water runs. I have reversed this one as that's most common. If that is in error, please let me know!
almost 2 years ago | Was doing some minor tag cleanup and the work here is lovely. Nice mapping!
almost 2 years ago | Incredible work on the parking lot!!!
| 29419086 | almost 2 years ago | Hello!
It doen't seem to flow uphill when looking at 3DEP layers but also cuts across a few waterways in an unusual way. Anyhow, just a curiosity that may need a ground survey but I figured I would ask. |
almost 2 years ago | Love that. I pulled up the website as soon as I saw it on OSM. Incredible. Thanks for the insight!
almost 2 years ago | Hello! There's two pressurized pipelines indicated here (ex: way/902479523/history#map=18/38.01366/-107.67071) but with opposite directions. Is one pumping back up a hill? Some strange return? Would love to know more. The ice park sure is an unusual feature!
almost 2 years ago | Thank you for investigating this!
almost 2 years ago | Just dropping in to say nice work on the loops and waterway connectivity!
almost 2 years ago | Nice! Thank you!!
almost 2 years ago | Hello! Lovely edits. I wanted to point out a small fixup that the typical river area tags are natural=water + water=river. You have these as waterway=river which is only for the centerline flow way. Super easy mistake to make. I've patched it up so don't worry about these. Happy mapping!
almost 2 years ago | Lovely work! I'm coming back through here working on the unmapped waterways (Lost Creek in this case).
almost 2 years ago | Perfect. Looks great!
almost 2 years ago | :thumbs-up:
almost 2 years ago | The building geometry is generally really nice. A few corners could be squared a bit here and there. If you haven't tried using the building plugin in JOSM it's great and I strongly recommend. This is the method that I mostly use: https://hotosm.github.io/pdc-documentation/en/pages/03-josm/08-menggunakan-building-tools-di-josm/08_menggunakan_building_tools_di_josm/ You can also add the tags for building=house/garage etc. But leaving it as building=yes will prompt streetcomplete users who may be better able to see things on the ground. I have a lot of building=yes stuff in my changes.
