it's just a summary of minor edits. in this case was generally a classification from "water" to "lake" and "pond", as the prior tag "water" was an inadequate generality for a map.

Hi eggie .. the reason is that the name Griend was written both in the area "island", meaning the entire island, which is correct, and the "scrub" part of the island,, which is not fully correct. so visibly in OSM there was a sudden repetition of the same name that suggested needing some minor clean up. the name Griend belongs to the island, not the the scrub .. the scrub is only the type of vegetation in part of the island, being the island the entire territory that is the object of the name. anyway i will not revert your edits. feel free to make any corrections yourself.

ok ... if you are refering to Changeset #47659907 , to my recolection, or at least intention, i did not touch that coastline. i believe just out of memory that i found this area which is a dyck" classified as "forest". no intention whatsoever to delete anyone's contributions, but to correct an obvious error, as there are no forest in that area whatsoever, to my knowledge. anyway i don't see exactly what i changed, but for sure i have no problem with 3dShapes contributions or anyone else's contributions.

hi eggie ... thank you for your inquiry. why use meadow instead of grass? well, meadows is more of a country field with grass and plants growing naturally. grass in osm is defined as "A smaller area of mown and managed grass". so grass is more what you would have in your garden or a park with maintained grass. in the Afsluitdijk what you see driving with the car is, short of scrub, more of a meadow, grass and plants growing naturally. anyway, feel free to make appropriate changes yourself.
