well, if you think the layout can be even more perfect, feel free to make it more perfect yourself. i use osm id and i'm fine with it. there are hundreds of thousands of contributors using many other imagery and will eventually perfect everyone else's edits. that's the way a collaborative project like wikipedia or osm works.

where was the wheelchair?

47693403 over 8 years ago

ok. i know terschelling pretty well and they should not abuse the use of "scrub" where there are meadows, heaths, fells, and even grasland, that is not grass. i'm dismayed to see the mess of 3dshapes, wholesale inaccuracies.

agree with your tagging argument regarding foot paths and sideways. but the foot paths on the roads along the sea in this case are sidewalks

well, than reverters are deleting a lot of work of a lot of people. and that is a form of vandalization and despicable execration of people's hard honest work that should not be tollerated. this is the reason why i do never revert anything from anyone with the josm addin, ever. they should make modifications instead of deleting so agressively and blindly. as for the groung/building issue, that is why the name of the university already written in university grounds, should not be repeated in the buildings within that same ground. to avoid visible repetition in the map, and keep the map clean and beautiful.

grass is like the mown in a park to walk over, which is inappropriate and misleading in the Afsluitdijk. better use grassland, meadows or some other mild vegetation tag natural=grassland

well, as you can see, the layout of the building was wrong and needed correction."All buildings in the Netherlands were imported"? that means that the source of the imported building is wrong and should be dismissed

the area university grounds is greater than the single building. the building is university building, not university grounds.

the area of the several buildings are university grounds. the single buildings within the university grounds are university buildings, not university grounds amenity=university

university grounds of Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz. need to distinguish university grounds from university buildings within the university grounds

yes, the Afsluitdijk is a dyke. probably the mother if all dykes :-) it is not a "reinforced_slope", so substituting dykes is inappropriate and should be changed for what it is, which is man_made=dyke . a meadow is not a farm. a meadow is a type of vegetation which is a mix of wild grass and plants. to put just grass is a eufemistic mistake, a minor mistake, not a big deal, but still a meadow is a meadow, and it is more appropriate in the case of the Afsluitdijk . skilled military people, do not classify military barriers as buildings. and there's a general maybe unwritten rule in osm which states "don't do the job of the renderer". an antitank barrier is not a building in anyway whatsoever. and being an old military barrier out of use, there's no reason to wrongly trick osm into making it a building. if an osm map needs to make it visible by military servicemen, the civil osm is not an appropriate tool. they can render their own osm, which is freely available thanks to our hard work, and a military rendering of osm surely needs the correct underlying data, which is an antitank barrier in this case.

the Tankhindernis is a military antitank row of concrete blocks. it is not a "building". for this type of military obstacles the tag barrier=tank_trap is more appropriate barrier=tank_trap

the minor details of the changes made in by contributors are registered throught the changeset and you can see them in the changeset. the changes in the hotel are very minor changes that doesn't need comment. go through the changeset and and see if there is a problem with the changes i made in the hotel. i don't think there is a problem, because it is a clear improvement. if you think you can improve it even more, feel free to do so, anytime. thank you
