10 months ago | Also the south unit should be incorporated into the relation, though exactly how should be considered
10 months ago | It's not *technically* renamed yet (the EO merely directs the Interior Dept. to pursue renaming it), but it will be renamed within a month. I don't think it will be that controversial.
11 months ago | This changeset elevated the existing tags from the enclosed way to two relations: one referring to the outer entity and one referring to the inner entity. Both entities are officially called "Maple Woods Natural Area", which is very confusing. The outer entity is recognized by the National Park Service as Maple Woods Natural Area, and the Missouri Conservation Department treats it as if it were one of its conservation areas with an idiosyncratic name. Gladstone parks and rec calls it Maple Woods Nature Preserve or simply Maple Woods Preserve. This outer entity is NOT a natural area in the sense of the state natural area program despite its name. The inner entity is recognized by MDC as the "true" natural area under the state natural areas program. It would fix everything to rename the larger/outer entity as "Maple Woods Conservation Area", which is actually how it *was* mapped on OSM despite that not being an official name. The sign on the ground says "Maple Woods Natural Area" when referring to the whole outer entity.
11 months ago | As of now, "Maple Woods Conservation Area" is not a name used by the state
11 months ago | Hello, there, and welcome to OSM! Thanks for cleaning up and normalizing tags on boundary relations. Some of these relations haven't been touched in many years. By default, though, we expand abbreviations unless the abbreviated form can be argued as "more proper" (e.g. brand names, surnames, etc.). In this case, "Ste." is an abbreviated form of "Sainte", and the first sentence of the Wikipedia article you refer to even uses this expanded form. I think we should spell it out again as "Sainte Genevieve County". There's a wiki page on this: osm.wiki/Abbreviations
11 months ago | Addressed note/4039586 in the process This also added more details around Cotton Creek Church
11 months ago | These are completely redundant tags when route relations exist, but we gotta have 'em
11 months ago | This fixes a typo on the Yesway and retags it as distinct shop and building=roof fuel amenity
| 161145087 | 12 months ago | Copying my note reply here: """
However, other maps styles DO render dedicated busways, including the (imho superior) Americana style (americanamap.org). It can take a little while for new data to show up over there, though. Rest assured, it's in the database ;) See the wiki: highway=busway#Rendering Feel free to reactivate this note or comment on my changeset. I'm always open to discussions. Cheers!

12 months ago | The latter is the established consensus. We put US before MO regardless of the number/letter that follows the network code. (Ideally we'd only have to worry about route relations and not these fiddly ref tags, but I digress.)
12 months ago | Looks like a mini edit war may have gone down years ago, but both user accounts involved have since been deleted. Dining by Design might have (had) a permanent location in the building, but the campus and building are very much not said caterer contained within. I have tagged the campus as landuse=religious to match the part west of North Campbell Avenue (which is also owned by Assemblies of God), and I moved the meaningful tags into the building footprint way itself. I kept the Dining by Design node around.
12 months ago | I kept the original outlines with demolished: prefix because Bing is not up to date here.
about 1 year ago | Hello! Can you please clarify what you meant by setting ref=636 on a segment of Sappington Road (way/625012006) in St. Louis County? Thanks!
about 1 year ago | This focuses on opening_hours and operator(:wikidata) tags.

about 1 year ago | This fixed up the sidewalk along and made Konert Lake Drive less jagged.
about 1 year ago | "Stone Crest Drive" is actually "Stonecrest Drive" without a space
about 1 year ago | This also removed a duplicate address point in Oakville, so the bounding box is a little wide.
