| 90352171 | over 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. Thank you for your edit however many of the tags you have removed remain valid. The address tags obviously remain valid and will continue to be valid when the premises become something else. General consensus is to remove the name if the signs have gone and the important one is to change shop= to disused:shop= to prevent someone searching for a gift shop being directed here. Keep on mapping :)

| 90258209 | over 5 years ago | Hopefully it will not happen again. That was the second time I had fixed the problem in a week. This mapper hadn't even edited a beach :) |
| 90130143 | over 5 years ago | Hi, I assume you mean the demo map on OSM.org, remember that is just one rendering of the OSM database and you should not worry about how something looks. The main thing is that what is in the database is correct. The problem is that things are close together here and there is not space to fully render everything so the rendering software has to decide what to show, Navigation apps such as OSMand will find it and it does render on openstreetmap.fr which has tiles rendered at zoom 20, whereas osm.org only renders to zoom 19. | 90132731 | over 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. Theank you for your edits however the name tage should only be used for actual names and not used for descriptions,Forest Track is a description and you should not be used in the name tag, the PROW reference also should not be in the name tag, See osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_use_name_tag_to_describe_things Cheers Phil |

| 90144858 | over 5 years ago | Hi, you seem to have created a very large building that covers the gardens here. Cheers Phil |
| 90148752 | over 5 years ago | I have restored your additions, however I have mapped Carreg Chwislen as bare rock, its not a peak. |

Your edits seem to have been duplicating beaches which were already mapped. What were you trying to achieve? Phil |
| 90089358 | over 5 years ago | > However, if there is a path on the ground
> how can we indicate it is suitable for foot,
In England and Wales we use the designation tag to indicate the legal status of a right of way, i.e. designation=public_footpath/public_bridleway/restricted_byway. You should be able to find this by looking at the signs or from the colour of the waymark arrows. osm.wiki/Access_provisions_in_the_United_Kingdom will give you some pointers. HTH Phil |
| 90089358 | over 5 years ago | Hi
Also you seem to have not taken on board my comments on how long distance paths are mapped as relations. Cheers Phil |
| 42200018 | over 5 years ago | Also what does cyc mean? |
| 90088310 | over 5 years ago | Hi, in order for routers to use this road you need the connect it to the track. Cheers Phil |
| 90088526 | over 5 years ago | Same as the previous comment, it is already part of The Severn Way relation. Cheers Phil |
| 90088488 | over 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. In OSM names are used for the actual name of an object. In this case the name of this footpath is not Offa's Dyke Path but it is part of the long distance path. Long distance routes are mapped as relations and this path is already part of relation/9649 It is also part of The Severn Way relation/112738 Cheers Phil |
| 90047039 | over 5 years ago | Again the mast and the building are two separate objects. How did you find this as its a bit out of the way? Cheers Phil |
| 90047199 | over 5 years ago | Hi, this edit is not quite correct. The mast hould not a building object, the site has a building and a mast. These should be mapped as separate objects. Cheers Phil |

| 89699840 | over 5 years ago | What do you mean by Postcode Directory? Please remember that postcode are copyright and we have to be squeaky clean about only using opendata sources. We are absolutely not allowed to copy from Royal Mail. Cheers Phil |
