Hi i have removed the driveway=pipestem from Munro, but what about the other streets? I think they are streets not shared driveways. I have not been out there and i presume you have. I am reluctant to change them without your input. The sort of thinks to look for: named streets, house numbers, rubbish collection, road markings, sign posts, footpaths, nature strips etc. That is why i ask for your reasoning

Hi Sebastian, I really want to change Munro street, the others, I am not so sure. I havent been there and the photography is hard to read. Can you help please?

Hi, what were your reasons for changing from residential roads to shared driveways? In particular Munro St? It is wide, has a footpath and nature strip, road signs and road markings, 66kV power lines, all the characteristics of a main road?

Thanks. Re intermittent I don't remember a definition but if it only flows during and immediately after a thunderstorm its a depression. If it flows for a few days I guess its a stream. We can't use the Parks map but I'd be very surprised if they showed. I'll restore them to previous state. If you disagree then please reply.

Hi. Welcome to OSM. Your contributions are valued. On my survey Stream #1082819926 does not exist, Stream #46916657 connects to Stream #351996864 via the culvert. Stream #1082821754 nor its upstream tributaries does not exist, it is a depression but water never flows down it. Do you have any further information to back up your changes?

Hi HighRouleur and Diacritic
There is good quality street level imagery by Mapillary which helps. Supporting the driveway case, these roads are narrow and entering from Oak Ave, the footpath breaks the entry road (ie the "crossover"). Supporting the road case, there are road markings supporting 2 way traffic, the roads are named and these names are shown on signposts, there is a 20kmh speed limit, no standing signs, street lights, marked parking bays, some but not many footpaths and even an internal rubbish collection service. It looks more like roads to me.

See Changeset #131002393 changed back to a path. There are two opposing opinions on Victorian road law here, either could be right. The mapping community has determined that Matthew's interpretation is the right one for the purposes of OSM

Hi, you have a number of vehicle roads in Bunurong Park tagged bicycle=no This seems inconsistent with their publicity: "you are welcome to enjoy the grounds, ... or explore this unique property by bike" https://smct.org.au/our-locations/about-bunurong-memorial-park. Do you have any evidence for the tag?

Hi. As I have received no reply I will move ahead. Your alteration of a path to a footway September 2021 was reverted as part of a DWG sanctioned roll back in October 2021. You undid this in December 2022 without discussion. I have visited the site and taken Mapillary photos https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=-37.933649245888&lng=145.19179623218&z=17&pKey=135223432674514&focus=map The original tagging as path seems sound to me but there is always room for discussion. I will return it to the path it was after the DWG sanctioned roll back. Where there are differences of opinion it is better to discuss rather than undo. If you think the tagging is wrong please discuss it here or at talk_au. I remind you of the community consensus that the absence of signage allowing bicycles is not in itself sufficient evidence that bicycles are disallowed. Finally, thank you for your many contributions to OSM.

Hi. What lead you to the conclusion that these paths are better tagged as footways? Thanks.

Hi, in general you don't need bicycle=yes/no unless bikes are being treated differently from other forms, for example in 28065299 access=private is probably all that needs be said.

Yes HighRouleur, the last sign entering from either side is an end shared path. Mapillary was out of date. I have uploaded new Mapillary, available soon.

Hi, could you please give a link or GPS for the sign you saw? I have found https://www.mapillary.com/app/user/tonyf1?lat=-38.0198354&lng=145.2980154&z=17&pKey=463720531384332&focus=photo&x=0.28994845932415925&y=0.7015664068221198&zoom=2.0107238605898123 which indicates it is shared from Magid east.

Hi, I have ridden what I thought was a cycleway on the east side of Hallam Rd quite a few times. What was your reason for bicycle=no Way: 996765439
also 998066195 and 1000952152 seem strange. Thanks Tony
