Hola. Our driver was very sure that this was Isla Campana because it looks like a bell (campana). He pointed out an island a few km to the east or northeast and said it was pia pia. I am not sure exactly which one.

Hi. Your edits to the map are encouraged. A lot of people depend on the map so please only add real things.

I have reverted these changes

Hi. You appear to have created a fictitious town Austina in the Sudan desert. OSM is not the place for imaginary places.

Hi. What is your source of information for these ferry routes? A web search of Sealink doesn't find them.

No reply to comment. Reverting.

Hi. You have made slight changes to the marine boundary west of Coffin Bay. Is this correct? What is your data source?

Hi. I don't think you will get the changes to the map that you want. My suggestion: if there is a gate then add a node barrier=gate with the access tag set to private, if it is a private road then tag the appropriate length of road with access=private

Hi. When you converted the shop Interiorwise from a node to an area you lost the tags giving the street address

Hi. You have deleted some features. It looks suspicious but I am not familiar with Sydney so its hard to know. Can you please give information on why these features were deleted. Thanks.

Hi. I see you have been converting buildings from node to area. This is very useful. Thanks. Unfortunately you don't seem to be carrying across all the information, address, wifi, website, for example Gosford RSL.

Hi. It appears you accidentally dragged a node of Mark Place. I have fixed it.

Hi. Thanks for the prompt reply and your contributions. It is important to get things right and have the most accurate tagging. OSM is a database used by many maps so this goes beyond getting a good result on the map at openstreetmap.org. Its not good practice to use the wrong tag as a "marker". You have mapped a rectangular park approximately 15m x 7m and that's OK if there is a rectangular park of this size. If it is better mapped as something else such as a lookout node or a seat then it should be. I also noticed Zara's Crossing, if this is a ford or a bridge then it should be tagged accordingly. First Turkey MTB Trailhead, are you mapping a car park? If so it should be tagged as one. There is already a car park with a different name, if the name is disputed then local signage would win. You might want to use the proposed tag highway=trailhead. If in doubt research the tags at osm.wiki/wiki/
No, no specific interest in the project, just noticed the edits in passing. Thanks again for your contributions to OSM.

Hi. Thanks for your contributions. You have mapped a park where, according to the satellite images, none exists. Is there a park here or is it a lookout or is it a named locality or what?

Hi
You have tagged way/496262536 as heath. It looks like lawn and car park to me.

Hi. Welcome to OSM. Thankyou for your contributions. Unfortunately you have dragged nodes by mistake in a couple of places damaging the Gosford station footbridge and the boundary of the commercial area immediately to the east. You need to be especially careful when editing high density urban areas because its easy to make mistakes. But please continue contributing,

Thanks for the reply. I think that there are problems with the Reserved forest. You have mapped it as a complex re-entrant polygon. The map rendering software has difficulty rendering this and shows a sliver of green little bigger than a car. Also, I think "Reserved forest" is a description and not a name and the name tag should be left blank.

Thanks for your reply.

You should delete anything that is not compatible with OSM's licence conditions.

Reading the wiki, I don't think that drain or culvert are the right tag. man_made=pipeline location=underground substance=water seems the best fit but I haven't seen what's on the ground.

Way: 489841972 looks like an access cover from the satellite, maybe remove the water tag and add man_made=yes surface=concrete?

The features you mapped have a direction, please check they match the flow direction.

When in doubt, you can ask at http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-au/ where I have already started a discussion.

Thanks for your contributions, please keep contributing
