I am not in your area, but you are able to export the GPS traces as “.gpx, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar, .zip, .gpx.gz, .gpx.bz2” files, you can go here and upload them directly to the OSM website, and they will then appear in your profile, under traces.

Once they appear, you can click “edit map” to the right of a trace, and this will open the ID editor for OSM, with an overlay of the trace.

Alternatively, you can use other software like JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap editor) and add the .GPX or similar traces as a layer.

I would recommend getting used to other basic mapping techniques though before trying to use GPS traces. Mapping from bing satellite images is normally quite common, and can sometimes be more accurate than mapping from GPS traces.
