To enhance trace precisions on a garmin
etrex venture go to the main menu, select
traks, then select the first menu item
on top-right corner of the display (the contextual
menu) and you'll find configuration options
for tracks. The default was likely 'auto' for
the precision, changing to time-based (2 seconds)
made the traces much better (and huge..)
