Moved to Munich in 2011, and not doing much mapping since… For Belgium I was “in here early” and starting on like a white sheet of paper. All biketours were openstreetmap-wise “new roads” and good for endles mapping entries, in Germany at that time “most seemed done”. Trying to add changes when I see them (new roundabouts, new roads, new maxspeeds) but often they are already taken care off.

I see this often, in Germany “all is done”.

Why not change mapping country? For example where I leave (Sweden) there are lot of to do. Like update the road net. We have a excellent national road database (NVDB) which can be used for free as an reference.

I would say “All is done” is definitely a matter of definition. For sure there is not every building added in Germany. Or what about maxspeed on major roads? Public transportation… There is a lot of work left depending on your focus.
